影片简介：

　　影片围绕一起名画失踪案展开，约翰尼·德普饰演的查理·摩迪凯受命寻找这幅内部藏有消失已久并储存大量黄金的纳粹银行密码的画作。一路上，摩迪凯遭遇了俄罗斯大汉、国际恐怖分子等一系列“危险人物”。不过这位探案者没有007和波恩那样矫捷的身手，反而是状态频出：飙车时弄丢地图，三脚猫功夫被对手秒杀后憨笑卖萌，还动不动中招美人计。不过好在这位逗比无比且魅力十足的主角有美丽妻子乔安娜（格温妮丝·派特洛 饰演）、帅气的ZF要员（伊万·麦克格雷格 饰演）和憨直勇猛的保镖乔克（保罗·贝坦尼 饰演）的帮助。

　　表面看来，查理（约翰尼·德普 Johnny Depp 饰）是一位事业有成，春风得意的艺术品商人，家中有娇妻乔安娜（格温妮丝·帕特洛 Gwyneth Paltrow 饰）坐镇，日子过的如鱼得水。然而，他有着一个不为人知的秘密，每当夜幕降临，查理便会摇身一变，成为专门偷窃艺术品的大盗，这双重身份由来已久，却也从未露出过马脚。

　　某日，一名专门修复戈雅作品的画匠无故死亡，他手中的天价艺术品神秘失踪，当局悬赏巨额，希望能够寻回此画，这赏金后头的一连串“零”让查理不由得心动起来，遂和搭档展开了一场充满了刺激和危险的旅途。在应付一连串怪人的同时，查理亦要提防名为马特兰（伊万·麦克格雷格 Ewan McGregor 饰）的男子，因为他不仅是英国军情五处的探员，还是同查理积怨已久的情敌。
